
Linguaphone Hong Kong announces a collaboration with The Hong Kong College of
Technology (HKCT). A signing ceremony was held on the 7th September 2005 to formalise
the alliance which fully acknowledges the wide ranging synergies and strengths
of the two parties.
HKCT is a non-profit making institution that has been serving the educational
needs of Hong Kong since 1957. They provide an extensive range of vocational courses
with a heavy bias towards information technology, but also including tertiary
and continuing education. With 30 centres spread throughout Hong Kong, their enrolments
exceeded 31,000 students in 2004.
For the Linguaphone Group, the extensive centre network and excellent on-campus
facilities, as well as the intensive face-to-face teaching experience available
from HKCT, will help support the rapid development of assisted learning English
language training throughout Hong Kong.

HKCT will benefit from the enormous strength and history of the Linguaphone brand
as well as the sales and marketing expertise of Linguaphone.

Linguaphone Centres will shortly open in four or five HKCT campuses, with extension
of the network to further campus locations based on geographic demand. |
